It is conveniently located for access to the Torbay Area, South Hams and Plymouth. The Gissons is the ideal stopover for those travelling further a field, close to both Exeter Airport (we offer a transfer service) and Plymouth Ferry Port.

The Kitchen boasts a locally sourced Carvery served 7 days a week with a choice of three meats. But this is not all the kitchen has to offer; a seasonal hunters menu, a la carte menu, and a bar menu for those who are just after a snack.

Staying at the Gissons
The Gissons continues the old age tradition of the travellers' inn - serving the local produce in comfortable surroundings, as well as offering a place to stay. At the same time it incorporates modern requirements such as en-suite bathroom/shower, tea/coffee making facilities and Wifi access in all rooms. The furnishings in the rooms are of a high standard and we are "QQQQ" recommended by the AA. All of our ensuite rooms are equipped with a private shower.
